Have you checked that your smoke alarm is working?

As the warmer weather slips away don't forget to check that your smoke alarm is in good working order. "ACT Fire & Rescue advises that all residential properties should be fitted with working smoke alarms. Smoke alarms must be checked on a regular basis. You should change your smoke alarm battery at least once a year, usually at the end of daylight saving."
